Tucker Tuesday: Week 47

As Jeremy just reminded me, it is only 5 weeks until Tucker turns 1.  It is so bittersweet, but Jeremy also noted that Tucker is so fun right now so we'll just focus on that!  Let me fill you in on the things that he's learned this week.

He's been eating lots of fruit and vegetables.  He would eat an entire pint of blueberries if we let him.  Tonight for supper, he ate an entire large banana, over half a cup of quinoa, and a bunch of blueberries.  Quinoa is a new food this week.  He's had it mixed with tomatoes (another favorite) and ricotta cheese (another new food).  I also made a cinnamon vanilla quinoa pudding (similar to a rice pudding), and he absolutely loves it!!

Last night, he dropped something and it sounded like he said "uh oh," so Jeremy and I repeated it.  Then, he dropped something else and definitely said "uh oh!"  Now when he is in his high chair, he will drop things (sometimes on purpose and sometimes accidentally) and say "uh oh."  It is adorable!

He will still kiss me if I say "give Mommy a kiss," but he hasn't done it for anyone else yet.  We've done "Eskimo kisses" (where you rub noses) since he was really little, and now when I say "Eskimo kiss," he will get a big smile, put his face against mine, and turn his head back and forth.  It amazes how much he is learning!

On Sunday, Tucker and Daddy went on their first outing alone.  They went to the grocery store, and Tucker was a little angle for Daddy.  Jeremy said that he just looked around and tried to flirt with the old ladies.

Here are a few pictures to enjoy this week!

Sunglasses are great for chewing on!
I wonder if this blade of grass tastes like the 10,000 that I've put in my mouth.

Hmm...

Yup, pretty gross!

I look pretty good in sunglasses.

I still like to chew on them best.

Have a great week, Everyone!
