Both of his bottom teeth are competing to be his first tooth. If you look at the pictures from last week, it seemed like his right bottom tooth was coming up faster, but now it appears that it will be his left bottom tooth that will come in first. He has still been drooling and chewing a lot. He had one bad day at daycare, where his teeth were hurting him and he didn't feel like eating; however, overall he has had mostly good days. On Sunday, he was belly laughing on several occasions. He still loves his jumperoo, and he will squeal with excitement as he bounces away.
This week, his new foods have been barley and sweet potatoes. He really seemed to like both. I gave him some of my banana for breakfast over the weekend, and he ate it but didn't really seem to enjoy it. He made more faces than he does with any other food.
Tucker turned 7 months old this week. Each time he turns a month older, I am shocked that time is passing so quickly. He has been taking three naps in his crib since the beginning of the year, but on Sunday, I let him snuggle with me for his last nap of the day. I cherish that snuggle time, and as I watch him roll across the floor, I know that our days of sitting in one place are numbered.
He is constantly feeling his new teeth with his tongue, so you will see lots of tongue, teeth, and smiles in this week's pictures.
Here are some always popular cat pictures. Oliver is such a good sport. I think he is putting up with the rough petting and fur grabbing with hopes that he will have a new buddy to snuggle with someday.
And it would be a true "Tucker Tuesday" without a little spit up!
