Tucker Tuesday: Week 25

Tucker has been busy "talking" and giggling.  He is such a happy boy, and there aren't too many things that make him mad.  One thing that does still make him mad is napping!  He cries every time it's nap time, but we're making progress.  On Monday, he took three 40 minute naps at daycare; however, that was followed by only one 40 minute nap at daycare on Tuesday.  It's still a struggle, but at least we're making progress!

He is still only eating breastmilk, but we've started to feed him a few bites of breastmilk with a spoon.  He knows what a spoon is for now and does really well with it.  We'll start him on solids for his half-birthday in a couple of weeks, but he will already have been introduced to the spoon so it will be just new foods that he will be starting and not a completely new way of eating as well.

We have some news regarding a new adventure!  We will be going to Florida for a week in March, and we are so excited!  After this cold spell that we've been in, I'm even more ready for some warm weather.  I just booked tickets to two Twins' Spring Training games, and we are working on flights and lodging.  Tucker will be 8 months old, and it will be his first airplane ride (unless you count the 10 flights we took while I was pregnant)!  We are still trying to figure out the logistics of renting a car seat vs. taking our own, finding a crib, etc.  I've been searching the internet for tips, but any advice is welcome!!

Here are some Week 25 pictures of our little guy...

Tucker has always loved bath days.  Other than the first bath after coming home from the hospital, he has never cried during his bath.  Here are a few pictures of our little fishy enjoying his bath.  I think we are going to need to switch to the big tub soon!
