Tucker Tuesday: Week 19
Happy Thanksgiving! This week, Tucker has been using his jumperoo. We have to put a box under it so his feet can touch, but he loves jumping in it. He's been on a little growth spurt this week and eating a lot!! One day while I was at work, he ate 28 ounces! He started doing a few new things yesterday, but that is part of week 20 so you'll have to check back next week to see what he's up to! Here are some pictures courtesy of Daddy this week...

Tucker Tuesday: Week 18
This has been a big week for Tucker. He turned 4 months old on Sunday!! I can't believe how fast it has gone by. He also continues to grow like a weed and has moved up to size 3 diapers. He loves to make razzing sounds, especially when he wants to play. He still loves sitting up with help and he is starting to reach across his body and push off the ground with his feet as if he is trying to roll over from back to tummy.
Here are some pictures from this week, including his unprofessional 4 month photos by Mom. I'll post some shots from his professional photo shoot in a few weeks after we've chosen which ones to buy.

He has amazing eye lashes! |
He wouldn't smile during his professional pictures, but he was happy for Mommy's pictures. |
He still makes his "Zoolander" face once in a while. He's been doing that since he was born. |
So sweet as we're getting ready for bed. |
His hair is getting a little more coarse and less newborn-like. |
He still loves his high chair. |
Hanging out with Soren before Mommy and Nicole went shopping! |
See you next week! |

Tucker Tuesday: Week 17
It has been a pretty low key week. Mommy and Daddy both had to work the weekend, so Tucker came with me to Grandma and Grandpa's so that I could nurse him as much as possible when I wasn't working. It cuts into my sleep time, but I've been concerned about my milk supply going down from the stress of work, eating/drinking less while I'm working, and having to pump more since I'm away from him more. I've started drinking some tea with herbs known to increase lactation, and it seems to be working so I'm hoping that we won't need to supplement with any formula. This week, Tucker tried a few new activities. We attempted to use his exersaucer, but he was a little too short to touch the ground and a little too tired to tolerate it. We will try again with some books under his feet to push off on, but we'll make sure he is well-rested first! We also got his highchair out and set up. We used it while we ate lunch one day, and he loved it! We're trying to use it whenever we are all home and eating a meal together, but I've also used it while I've been doing other things at the kitchen table. He loves being able to see what is going on, so we also put him in his bouncy seat so he can watch us cooking or cleaning the kitchen. Next week, we have another professional photography session when he turns 4 months old, but this week there are just a few that Mommy took.
Look at me sitting in my high chair for the first time! |
I'm such a big boy! |
FEED ME!!! |
Just kidding...I'm not old enough to eat real food yet! |
Don't worry about eating in front of me. I'll just play with my raccoon rattle. |
I like making new furry friends. |
I wonder how long I'll be able to get away with bringing toys to the dinner table. |
I wonder how much of this raccoon I can fit in my mouth. |

Tucker Tuesday: Week 16
Last Halloween was our first night in our new house. I don't think either one of us expected to have a smiley, energetic baby boy one year later. It's amazing to think about all of the changes that we've been through during the last year, but I wouldn't give him up for anything. Life is good!!
This week, Tucker gave us one more belly laugh. He is starting to make a lot more sounds when he is "talking." One of his favorites is "goo" and he has started to say "maaaam." He had to endure Daylight Savings, which he has done pretty well. He has started waking up twice during the night to eat again, but is still sleeping until 7AM so overall, I think we're pretty lucky. He also "endured" his first Halloween. We only made him wear his little monkey costume for pictures, and he tolerated it pretty well in the morning but was not quite as happy in the evening for pictures with Daddy in his gorilla costume. I was supposed to have a zookeeper costume to go along with the two primates, but I didn't get around to putting it together. However, with two naughty kitties, an energetic baby, and a husband, I don't need Halloween to be a zookeeper when living in this house!
